Wallace Design is a small full service architectural, interiors, and planning firm located in Bellevue, Washington. Wallace Design brings over 25 years of professional architectural design and construction experience to our clients and their projects.
The philosophy of Wallace Design is to provide not only professional services but also personal service and individual attention, tailored to each client and their project. This is accomplished by hands-on involvement, total dedication, and a full commitment to each project and client. Our philosophy governs our choice of clients and projects undertaken, and is reflected throughout our work, our designs, and in our delivery and quality of service.
At Wallace Design we consider ourselves as vision-enablers, designers, and problem solvers. We work to make our client's vision a reality. We know that good design is important; that it adds and has real value. We find solutions to difficult issues and problems. Regardless of a project’s size, budget, or complexity Wallace Design, in all our designs and through the design process, works to bring to each project a specific and appropriate solution derived from the uniqueness of the project’s place, program, and needs of the client.
Wallace Design also believes that during the many phases of a project, thoughtful and considered input and feedback from the client, users, maintenance personnel, consultants, and others affected by a project is critical to the creation of a successful building, interior environment, and facility; that successful projects and buildings do happen when the client, users, architect, consultants, and contractors act and perform as a team in an open, interactive, and collaborative relationship.
Wallace Design services include architectural consulting, client consultations, facility assessments, needs studies, master planning, site planning and design, programming, space and facility planning, architectural and interior design, document preparation, consultant coordination, permitting, bidding support, and construction administration. We also offer Value Engineering/Analysis & Peer Review, Constructability Review, Architectural Design & Production (out-sourcing), and Quality Control Review consulting, participation and support services.
The primary focus of the practice is public projects and facilities. We are experienced in the planning and design of educational facilities, libraries, municipal offices, public safety facilities, court and judicial facilities as well as other public, institutional, and commercial projects. Wallace Design is also committed to sustainable architecture and the design and construction of socially and environmentally sensitive and responsive buildings and projects.
